Using Text Snippets

Selenium allows you to save bits text from web pages for use in reports or for later reference. You can also use Text Snippets to make quick notes to yourself.

To save text as a Text Snippet:

Step 1

Choose Text Snippets from the popup menu beneath the light blue source list on the left of the window, or press Command Option Shift T.

Step 2

Click the + button in the bottom left corner of the window.

Step 3

Drag or type the text you want to save to the text area above the dark blue-gray area near the bottom left of the window.

Step 4

Type a name for the Text Snippet in the text field beneath the Description label in the dark blue-gray area near the bottom left of the window.

To remove an Text Snippet, select it and click the - button near the bottom left corner of the window.
